The history of the bathing suit has but one turning point: 1995. The year Pin-Up Stars were born. Before Pin Up, no one had ever embroidered anything on a bathing suit. 100- 150 models per year, all patented, for inimitable bathing suits. Each collection is born of an original inspiration that has nothing to do with tried and true beachwear trends.
Pin-Up Stars uses printing techniques never used before in the fashion industry: each design is placed on the fabric piece by piece, like a collage. Animalier prints, semi-precious stone trims, fantasy worlds fixed on fabric, crochet, hoop earrings and bracelets to remove and wear, criss-crossed jersey held in place with bas-relief belts: the bathing suit and its unique world have become the object of endless invention.
